About DitchThePill.org

doctorDitchThePill.org is a non-profit organization dedicated to the understanding, research and treatment of women's health concerns caused by the toxic side effects of birth control pills (BCP’s).  It was created in response to what is becoming a growing epidemic of health problems in women over the last 50 years, beginning with the introduction of oral contraceptives.

DitchThePill.org strongly feels that women should have a vital part in managing medical decisions regarding their own health.  Prescription medications, particularly in the form of oral contraceptives, have unknowingly caused an epidemic of health problems in women since the advent of the Pill in the 1960’s.

Our goal is to educate women about the effects of BCP’s, allowing them to make educated choices about their own lifestyle.  DitchThePill.org believes that BCP’s are dangerous drugs, but fully recognizes the Pill has made an important difference in the personal lives of women – allowing them to conveniently and easily alleviate the risk of unwanted pregnancy.

For women choosing to remain on the Pill, even with the full understanding of its potential long-term side effects, DitchThePill.org offers a unique solution in managing and partially counteracting the more serious health risks involved.

We are the only medical group that recommends the “Match the Pill” strategy. If you choose to remain on the Pill, you should strongly consider this plan of action.
