Migraines are a major problem caused by (or just as often) aggravated by birth control pills (BCP’s). Very few doctors will now contest the fact that BCP’s play a significant role in generating migraine headaches.
The medical literature is full of articles documenting migraine headaches going hand in hand with taking BCP’s. Most doctors will recommend you stop taking the Pill should migraine headaches suddenly begin for the first time - or if they start to get worse.
However, many doctors advise their patients to stay on BCP’s - in spite of worsening of migraines. They note if you stay on them long enough, the headaches tend to slow down after a while. Fortunately, many women don’t follow this less than stellar advice.

Big drug companies have simply no desire to see a natural cure for migraine headaches. Why?
